I'm a mom now! Sorta xD.
I've only told a few people online but something big went down back in January and only now I'm feeling alright to announce it. Child and Family Services stepped in and seized my older sister's five children and placed them with us (my parents and I) for proper care. This is something I've been wanting to happen ever since I saw what their idea of parenting was back three years ago when they where living with us. So I've been feeling quite happy, annoyed by bad behavior at times but mostly happy. Yay kids and fuck anyone who tries to pile any extra unneeded stress on my shoulders. You'll simply be ignored <3.

This summer I'm planning on getting out a little more. Swimming and fun stuff like that. At the beginning of the year I promised myself that I'd try to loose 20lbs over the summer but I'm going to have to up that goal since I've some how managed to loose almost half of it already even before summer so whooooooooooo! :'D. I need to find a swim top yet!

What else.. hmm, for conventions this year I'm going to be going to Anthrocon and Otakon down in the States and then Aikon and Comicon here in Winnipeg. There would have been another one in Edmonton but I can't stay with my friend but that's cool. I get to meet her at Aikon and maybe get to driver her around <3. I'm gonna see about maybe going to the Ex, an amusement park only open for a few weeks in the summer in Winnipeg, with a group of friends and maybe I'll end up winning meself another huge ass doll or something haha.

I made my first fursuit head last year and holy shit it looked horrid xD. Gonna try again now that I have more of an idea of what goes into it and I've worked out how to properly brush paint into faux fur now too. I got some faux fur swatches and I know what I kind I want to use so I just need to order it now but first I need to figure out just how much I need. I'll figure that out tomorrow. I'll try to get it done before Anthrocon so I can take it with me and show it off but if I don't get it done in time I'm not going to worry to much. I'll just take a tail and maybe some elastic ears if I have time. There's lots of other conventions I can take it to and what ever events are held in Winnipeg. And to be safe I'm going to do the entire build around the kids here. I know it'll kill the fun for them but I'd rather do that then terrify the 3 and 4 year old >,<. Though honestly I don't think they'll be bothered to much by it. I keep showing them fursuits on youtube and they think they're the coolest things ever to the point of wanting one themselves xD. So this year I'll make my white fox and then next year wolf link so I can cosplay with

I got a sewing machine for Christmas so I can make some clothes now but I just haven't got a place to set it up yet and buy the cloth I need. It's kinda hard finding nice clothes when you're a bigger sized lady. Found some skirts that I'd like to try and make since they look simple enough so wish me luck when I do finally get the chance to work on em. Also I got a few dolls to make haha.
